The show starts off with Renee Young in the ring. She introduces The WWE Champ The Viper Randy Orton.
Randy Orton heads down to the ring with The WWE Championship over his shoulder.
Renee Young said there was a some controversy from his match with Big Show at Survivor Series when Big Show hit the "KO Punch" on him. They showed some pictures of it. Renee said all Big Show had to do was roll you in the ring and cover you but The Authority came out. Big Show was distracted and you recovered hit "RKO" "Punt" and cover the Big Show for the 1, 2, 3!
Randy Orton says he would have won even if The Authority didn't come out because he was playing possum with The Big Show.
Renee Young asked Randy Orton how he felt about the TLC match he has with John Cena putting both Championships on the line and if he felt betrayed by The Authority because they accepted the match for him.
Randy Orton was left speechless and walked out of the ring. The Viper looked upset as the walked up the ramp.
I think Renee Young did a fantastic job interviewing The WWE Champ Randy Orton. Personally I wouldn't have a problem if Renee did all the interviews from now on. I think that was the perfect way to start out Smack Down with Renee young in the ring. I look forward to seeing more of Renee Young.
